Implementation of EU Regulation 2025/920 on Aviation Security
The European Commission has published a new regulation on aviation security which comes into effect on 1. September 2025. It introduces significant amendments to the existing framework for entities in the secure supply chain, particularly regulated agents and known consignors. Under the new requirements, the following information must be provided for export shipments from Europe:
Commodity description in accordance with the EU guidance for acceptable goods descriptions.
Details of all parties involved, including the original shipper and consignor (if different), the original consignee and final recipient (if different). For each of these parties, the following data is required: the name of the natural person or the company (if different and as applicable), their full address and contact details, including phone number.
Failure to provide the information will result in non-acceptance of the cargo. Accordingly, we request that you support us in providing the details mentioned for entering these in the Air Waybill.
