6th Annual Meeting of the “Cooperative Logistics Network” in March 2023
With a record attendance of 230 delegates from over 60 countries, the annual meeting of the Cooperative Logistics Network “The Coop” ended on 13 March in Phuket, Thailand.
The Coop, founded in December 2014, is an international network that enables classic logistics SMEs to operate worldwide with like-minded and similarly positioned partners. The number of participating companies per city is limited and each member is checked before admission to see if it meets the organisation’s high standards. Criteria are economic factors as well as indications of how reliably work is done.
Over two days, the participants had time to meet long-standing partners, but also to establish new business connections. Even before the event, all the delegtes arranged to meet online for up to 32 business meetings of 20 minutes each. Our representatives, Stefanie Helbing and Johan Padding, were thus able to get to know the services offered by delegates from all over the world, but also illustrate our strengths.
A very well organised social programme rounded off the stay and helped to establish contacts outside the pre-arranged business meetings. We received the first enquiries from new partners even before the end of the meeting, which once again shows how important these personal meetings are.
