Congestion returns to North Europe ports
Congestion at North Europe’s container ports is on the rise again, causing ocean carriers to adapt their schedules and restrict import and export operations at terminals.
Vessels are arriving at North European ports already delayed by supply chain disruptions in China. Rising Covid cases and lockdowns in Shanghai have caused cargo delays. Recently, Shenzhen was similarly affected. However, some restrictions there were lifted this week, allowing factories to re-open ahead of schedule.
