No-Deal Brexit

Should the U.K. leave the European Union without a ratified agreement, the region will then be classified as a third country subject to the legal provision applicable to other non-EU countries. This will also have consequences in respect of trade and VAT procedures for transport and logistics services.

From that moment onward, cross-border trade to and from the UK is subject to customs legislation. This implies that goods need to be declared and be presented to the customs during import and export. Additionally, these goods are subject to customs tax and import sales tax.
