Coronavirus in China - Contingency Planning

After the Outbreak of the Coronavirus in China, some of the country’s cities in the affected areas have been quarantined in order to stop spreading the virus further. In the meantime, the Chinese government has prolonged the official holidays by three days in order to limit contact between people.

The spreading of the lung desease also has an impact on the supply chains which is why operations of our local Chinese sister company have made contingency plans to keep business running should the situation worsen. As alternative to ocean freight  this would comprise transport via rail using the Silk Road and, of course, air freight. We will keep you informed, should your orders with us be affected in any way.
